Overview
Daniel W. Ferris is a Partner in CMDA Law’s Riverside, California office, where he represents public entities, municipalities, school districts, and other institutional clients in civil litigation. His practice focuses on public entity defense, personal injury defense, employment litigation, contract disputes, and education law.
Daniel has substantial experience defending clients through all stages of litigation, including pleadings, motion practice, discovery, trial preparation, trial, and appeal. He has successfully obtained favorable results through dispositive motions, including motions for summary judgment and demurrers, helping clients resolve matters efficiently and strategically.
In addition to his trial court practice, Daniel handles appellate matters in both state and federal courts, including the preparation and filing of appellate briefs. His litigation background allows him to assist clients with complex civil disputes, risk management concerns, and defense strategies tailored to the unique challenges facing public agencies and institutional clients.
Daniel earned his Juris Doctor from Whittier Law School and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Riverside.
