Gary is based in CMDA’s Livonia office, where his practice focuses on business law, commercial litigation, real estate law, employment disputes, community association law, and general civil litigation.

He represents corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, developers, condominium and homeowner associations, trusts, business owners, and individuals in complex disputes before state and federal courts and in arbitration proceedings.

Gary handles matters involving breach of contract, fraud, construction litigation, easements, employment disputes, defamation, real estate ownership, landlord-tenant issues, and the enforcement of condominium and homeowner association governing documents. His experience as an owner and hands-on operator of multiple businesses also gives him practical insight into the legal and operational challenges his clients face.

“Since Gary joined the Firm, he has taken on challenging assignments and consistently worked to achieve favorable results,” said CMDA Managing Partner Christopher G. Schultz. “He is dedicated to his craft, hardworking, a tremendous team player, and has become a leader in our Livonia office. Just as importantly, our clients trust Gary and feel comfortable turning to him directly. We know they are in excellent hands.”

Paul is based in CMDA’s Riverside office, where he represents public entities and other clients in civil litigation, municipal law, and insurance-defense matters.

He manages every phase of litigation, including initial case evaluation, strategic planning, discovery, substantive motion practice, hearings, trials, and appeals. Before joining CMDA, Paul personally litigated more than 1,425 cases during more than a decade in criminal-defense practice, developing extensive experience in trial advocacy, case analysis, and client representation.

Paul is a California State Bar Certified Criminal Law Specialist and has been recognized by California Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in criminal defense. He is also proficient in Mandarin Chinese and conversational in Spanish.

“Paul has done an excellent job serving our clients and building relationships grounded in trust,” Schultz said. “His significant trial experience strengthens the entire Riverside team. He represents the Firm exceptionally well and has consistently demonstrated the judgment, professionalism, and leadership qualities we expect from our partners. With attorneys like Paul helping us build the Firm, CMDA is positioned for continued success and growth.”
